Tenants
As a local agent, we understand the needs of tenants and the reasons why you are looking for rented accommodation in the Torbay and outlying areas.
Each property description is designed to give you as much information as possible with as many accompanying photos as is practical to take. You can then make an informed choice as to the properties you would like to see, from the comfort of your own home. You can either email you request or better still, just ring the office during office hours to check availability of you choice and make an appointment to view.
Our application process is simple, uncomplicated and your choice of accommodation will be reserved for you (subject to the landlords requirements) during the referencing period. An application form is completed by all persons wishing to be included in the tenancy and a reservation/administration fee is paid when the application is submitted to the office.
A deposit equal to a months rent is payable at the commencement of the tenancy along with the advance rent of no less than one month. It is common practice for a landlord to ask for a higher deposit where pets are to share the family home and this extra amount is usually equal to 2 weeks rent.
All properties we manage have to meet certain basic safety requirements. If a property has gas, a gas safety record will be available for you, with all the landlords gas appliances tested at least annually. Electrical certificates are also available for all properties we manage, helping to ensure your safety during your stay.
